My Name is Sabina Speich / Tüpf Li.

I am a mixed media multimedia artist. I juggle between conceptual art, textile crochet art, media art, participatory art projects and art activism.

 I am interested in investigating things and following up stories. With my complex art I want to uncover grievances and draw attention to things. At first sight, my creations often seem "funny", "cute" or "ridiculous". If you take a closer look, you will notice that everything is very nested and always designed with several levels and media. The crocheted Works of art are for the most part made from second-hand wool and yarn, which I get after calling up on social media, I call for them "give me instead of throwing it away". Tons of wool scraps are disposed of every year. 

 Justice and environmental protection are very important to me, which I fight for.
